Warped Tour: 2004 Compilation

I just wanted to say to all those that left me those horrible comments about how I am not punk, blah blah blah.  I never really labeled myself punk.  Yes I like punk music and yes I like power pop, pop, whatever you want to call Good Charlotte and My Chemical Romance.  But just because my favorite band and my screen name is Good Charlotte based, doesn't mean I don't know what real punk is.  I'm not going to get into a pissing contest over who is more punk, but I grew up in a punk house.  I grew up listening to The Clash, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, Social Distortion and many others.  I also listen to Midtown, The Casualities, The Virus, The Devotchkas, The Lower Class Brats, Clit 45, Rancid, Senses Fail, The Starting Line, and many others.  I grew up believing being punk, an authentic punk was being true to who you are despite what others say or think and to be proud of what you are and what you can become.  Yes, the clothes help and the tattoos help and the piercings help, but those things don't make you punk, the music doesn't make you punk and disrespecting other peoples opinions and beliefs doesn't make you punk.
